Testing Services administers and coordinates a variety of assessment programs and services, including placement testing in English (Writing and Reading) and Mathematics.
New Student Orientation
Orientation assists new students with a successful transition to Northeastern Illinois University by preparing students for the academic, social, and cultural opportunities of the University, while also supporting parents, partners, guardians and children of new students.
Family and Parent Programming
Our goal, through Family and Parent Programming, is to involve and support family members by providing helpful information to assist them in the success of their student. Programs such as Family Orientation and the Annual Family Brunch give parents and family members an opportunity to connect with Northeastern and meet students, other family members, faculty and staff.
